Siri is an intelligent personal assistant that helps you complete everyday tasks. Preview your daily calendar, set grading reminders, open the latest version of a document, and much more.
Set up Siri. From Settings, tap Siri, then tap Talk to Siri. Choose “Hey Siri” or “Siri.”
Activate Siri with your voice. Try asking something like “Hey Siri, what’s the weather for today?”
Translate a phrase. Say something like “Hey Siri, translate ‘Would you like to go to the library?’ into French.”
Set a timer. Say “Hey Siri, set a timer for three minutes.”
Set a task reminder or Calendar event. Request something like “Hey Siri, remind me to check my voicemail at 3 p.m.” or “Hey Siri, set up a meeting with Sarah for tomorrow at three.”

Greet students in the native language of a culture you’re learning about. Say something like “Hey Siri, translate ‘Good morning class’ into Chinese.”
Capture and analyze fleeting learning moments with slo‑mo video. Say “Hey Siri, take a slo‑mo video,” and Siri will open Camera in Slo‑Mo mode.
As Siri learns more about things you do frequently, you’ll get timely suggestions in places like the Lock screen or in a search. You can also add shortcuts for things you do the most so you can get them done simply by asking Siri.
