My Songs is where you create and manage your GarageBand projects. After you create a new project, you can browse Touch Instruments and explore hundreds of fun instruments with sounds that evoke different time periods, moods, and cultures.
Open GarageBand and create a new project. Tap My Songs, then tap Create New Song 
.
Browse Touch Instruments in the Sound browser. Tap Tracks, swipe left or right to view the Touch Instruments, then tap the one you want to explore.
Explore the built-in coaching tips. Tap Info 
to reveal helpful information about each instrument and each view.
Choose another instrument. Tap Browser 
on the left side of the control bar to return to the Sound browser.
Highlight coaching tips that can help someone using GarageBand for the first time. Take screenshots with coaching tips turned on, then annotate them using Markup.
Explore the Sound browser to hear all the Touch Instruments and discover the sounds they can make. Use the coaching tips to learn how each Touch Instrument is played.
Store your GarageBand projects in iCloud Drive so you can access them from other apps and on other Apple devices.
