As a part of my One Best Thing project, I have been exploring creative ways to use images generated with AI Art in learning. Recently, I have been having lots of fun generating colorful AI tie dye patterns using Adobe Firefly.
I explored using various prompts for different colors and added descriptions to make circular designs with symmetry. It was so much fun, but I wasn't sure how they could be used as part of a lesson in the classroom. Then I recalled having students make t-shirts in Keynote (or Pages) to represent their favorite things - a perfect back to school activity. Wouldn't it be fun to add a tie dye background to the t-shirt! In Keynote it is easy to change the color of a shape to a downloaded tie dye image - see below:These are totally cool looking and students would have a blast making them! Lots of other shapes could be tie -dyed as well.
Call to Action: If you have any other ideas for using these tie dye AI images as part of a lesson or creative activity, I would love it if you shared your idea in the comments!
